If you come here, request Royce, he is basically from the hidden ninja villiage. Also he probably gives the most amount of garlic butter to all the dishes. He makes other habachii places look like greedy butter barons.

We had an amazing experience. Our chef, Royce, was incredibly skilled and entertaining through out the meal. Raymond was always on top of our needs as a server and friendly all night. Jason was welcoming from our initial entrance and ensured our satisfaction throughout the evening. His magic tricks and banter were amusing to say the least. As a first time experience, tonight was memorable and very welcoming, offering a rare feeling of community many other establishments only hope to foster.

First off this place is such a great experience. Royce, Raymond and Jason were so much fun. Not only did they make my birthday a full on show, but they made us feel like family. My aunt and mother brought a cake that they left early, and before they could even get back to the kitchen the whole group was working on the cake with such love and detail. Putting the fruit on it, you would have thought I was the grandchild of the owner. And dont get me started on the owner, the SWEETEST man ever. This whole dinner birthday was truly such a joy and I would recommend not only this food but these people to ANYONE.

We came back for Valentine's Day and despite it being pretty busy we received amazing service and the food and sake were great! It was so good that I devoured my entire meal and forgot to take any pics. I ordered the beef teriyaki, shrimp tempura and sashimi combo. The steak was so tender and juicy and my whole meal was just as fantastic as the first visit. This time I tried the ocean crunch roll and it was crispy and delicious! I ordered hot sake and it was perfect with my meal. Thank you also to the host that is so friendly and he really does a great job and gives percent. This was a great way to spend Valentine's Day!

I decided to give Tabi-Ji a try for dinner during a work trip, and it exceeded expectations despite the restaurant being quiet at 7:30 PM. We had made reservations for 8:30 but surprised we weren't able to get a table at 7:30. Based on the restaurant's positive reviews, we decided to give it a try--and it didn't disappoint. My colleague and I chose the hibachi grill experience and were entertained by our chef who prepared our meals to perfection. Our meals started with salads served with ginger and sweet dressings on the side, both of which were delicious. The chicken broth soup was equally flavorful. I ordered the steak and shrimp combination with extra fried rice, and the portions were generous and satisfying. They meals came with a shrimp appetizer. Along with the entree, vegetables were also grilled and served. Overall, I highly recommend Tabi-Ji for its great food. I would like to visit again and try their sushi menu.

Where do we even start. I love how this is authentically Japanese owned and has been a family business since the 70s. I cannot express how amazing the staff are. Michelle was attentive, kind and pleasant as our server. You must ask for her when you come in. Jason I have no clue what his role is but he feels like the face of Tabi-Ji and is such a blast. I would definitely hang out with these two if I get a chance. I always order nigiri and not much of a roll person so my review will be mainly that type of sushi. You know how you normally dip the sushi in soy sauce well not here folks. The rice is perfectly seasoned and has enough of a salt profile to go perfectly with the seafood item of your choice, it reminds me of onigiri rice. They have the perfect amount of wasabi, grated ginger or whatever compliments your fish. You can just pop one in your mouth and you know it will be the perfect bite. The wife gets their sukiyaki combo and I just love the fried rice they have because it's the same rice as the tepanyaki, the amount of butter on it is so damn good. The amount of food you get for the combo is a ton and well worth it. Also, by far our favorite sukiyaki is from here. As part of the combo meal you get your choice of soup and a salad. I can't decide if I like the miso soup or their clear broth better. Someone will have to comment here and tell me what you think or prefer? As for appetizers we get the calamari and it comes in perfect little chunks. I can't wait to come back, please have ankimo again
